SECOND SHIFT
BRAND BOARD · LOCKED 2026-10-23

The chevron is the mark.

Six parallelograms in two columns form an S. Left column in the surface color, right column gold. The gold crescent moon is retired everywhere. This board is built only from the final canonical pack, never redrawn, never recolored.

mark-dark, for dark surfaces. Six sections: s-tl, s-tr, s-ml, s-mr, s-bl, s-br.

The golds are a family, preserved exactly per surface from the source boards. The mark assumes a neutral surface: dark, light, or the gold tile.

Rules

  • Never redraw or recolor the mark. Use the canonical files.
  • Dark variants on dark backgrounds, light variants on light.
  • Never sit the mark straight on a saturated color (green, purple, or blue alerts and banners). Put it on a neutral chip first.
  • Home-screen icons are full-bleed. The floating gold tile is for favicons, avatars, and in-page use.
  • Holiday and cause editions are made with recolor.py from the section map, into a themes folder. The canonical files never change, and the product itself stays dark and light only until Dip says otherwise.
  • The gold crescent moon is retired. It does not come back.
